Aabha Contraceptives Pvt. Ltd. has been founded in collaboration with world leader Kendek Corporation Malaysia. Aabha Contraceptives is poised to be better equipped to address the increasingly complex challenges of the health of populations in the 21st century.

Our ultra-modern facility having a capacity of 100 million pieces per annum with environmental and pollution control measures, is located about 300 KM from Mumbai in the town of Baramati.

The endeavour of the founders is to strive for a world where all women’s and men’s rights to enjoy sexual and reproductive health are promoted and protected, and all women and men, including adolescents and those who are marginalized, have access to sexual and reproductive health information and services.

Aabha’s objectives are shaped around the six components of Aabha Contraceptive’s Global reproductive health strategy:

Aabha Contraceptives Pvt Ltd had commenced its commercial production in July 2013 under the strict supervision of and training by Malaysian technicians. The Factory is operating in three shifts in 24 hours with highly skilled technicians with rich experience in production, maintenance and quality control.

Aabha Contraceptives Pvt Ltd will commence its commercial production in July 2013 under the strict supervision and training by Malaysian technicians. Factory will turned with Three Shifts operation in 24 Hours with employed technicians with wide experience in production, maintenance and quality control.

Our laboratory is fully equipped with the latest equipment and modern instruments to ensure quality control at all stages from incoming raw material to final dispatch of each product.

Condom testing involves a variety of methods – air burst (inflation) testing, water leak testing and electronic testing for holes. Condoms are regulated medical devices and must conform to international standards documents such as ISO: 4074:2002. Standards specify what a company must do to test each condom to ensure that it works properly. Condoms must also be approved by medical regulatory bodies, such as a Notified Body in Europe and the FDA in India. The standards stipulate strict controls over quality, testing and materials used during manufacture.

The quality of our condoms is assured by our Quality Management System as per ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 13485: 2003 for medical device products, which is annually audited by the notified body for Product Safety. All our condoms are made in accordance with the quality standards ISO 4074: 2002, WHO-2003, ASTM, SABS, ISO and CE-Mark (EU). The process and production parameters and quality control procedures are followed based on written Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and documented procedures.
